Sam Adamo is a criminal law specialist and is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His practice includes defense and trial of complex Federal White Collar Crime cases including but not limited to Real Estate Fraud, Medicare/Medicaid Fraud and the Corrupt Practices Act. All Federal and State Felonies and Misdemeanors.
OVERVIEW
As a former prosecutor and defense attorney Sam Adamo has tried hundreds of criminal cases in the last 37 years. Sam Adamo obtained a B.A. in Political Science at Saint Louis University in 1964 and his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 1968. During his first five years of practice Sam Adamo was a top prosecutor in the Harris County District Attorney's office where he learned the art of trying criminal cases. At the District Attorney's office Sam Adamo engaged in all types of prosecutions from the most serious felonies including Capital Murder to misdemeanors such as Driving While Intoxicated. He completed his career at the District Attorney's office in the Special Crimes White Collar Fraud section.
In 1976, Sam Adamo entered private practice. He was Board Certification as a Criminal Law Specialist from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1991. His successful practice has included defending person's accused of Federal and State crimes. Sam Adamo has obtained dismissals and not guilty jury and judge verdicts in all types of criminal cases including but not limited to Murder, Robbery, Sexual Assault, Drug Conspiracy, White Collar Fraud, Medicare/ Medicaid fraud, D.W.I., Theft and many others.
Sam Adamo is a former Vice President of the Harris County Criminal Attorney's Association and a Life Member of the Texas and National Association of Criminal Attorney's Associations. He is recognized among his peers as one of Houston's best criminal trial lawyers. When the Houston Chronicle newspaper conducted a poll of Harris County Judges asking whom they would hire if they needed a criminal defense attorney, Sam Adamo was at the top of the list. Martindale-Hubbell attorney listing has awarded its prestigious A/V rating. The rating is based upon polling of Houston attorneys and signifies that Sam Adamo has the highest legal and moral qualities and abilities in the practice of law among his peers.
Sam Adamo has appeared on radio talk shows as a legal expert and lectured at legal seminars on a broad range of legal issues.

Mr. Adamo is also a Life Member of both, the Texas Criminal Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

SAM ADAMO Jr.
A native of Houston, TX, Sam Adamo Jr., received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. While obtaining his Bachelors Degree, he received the four year student-athlete award, and was captain of the University of San Diego Men's Basketball team. Prior to his focus on criminal law, he practiced in legal areas such as bankruptcy, real estate, and corporate law. As always, his focus is on advising, assisting, and diligently representing his clients within the boundaries of the law.

REBEKKA PELTZMAN
Rebekka is an experienced paralegal and has been with the firm for five years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2004. Rebekka performs a range of tasks within the firm. She assists the Attorneys in interviewing clients, filing of documents and subpoenas, preparation of pretrial and trial motions and memorandums of law, witness coordination, trial exhibit preparation, and various other administrative tasks to ensure the office runs efficiently and smoothly.
